Vozrozhdenie Bank ordinary shares were transferred to MICEX Level 2 Quotation List

23 January 2017

In the course of the listing reform MICEX Stock Exchange decided to transfer the ordinary non-documentary registered shares of Vozrozhdenie Bank to the Level 2 Quotation List starting from January 31, 2017. Free-float decrease was the main reason for the transfer.

“As we mentioned earlier, the transfer of shares from the Level1 to the Level 2 Quotation List would not make significant difference to the issuer itself. Due to the changes in the current legislation it is important to the banks to be included not just to the Highest Level Quotation List but also to the MICEX index. The bank adheres to the best international practices of the corporate governance and at the beginning of 2017 introduced all changes necessary for complying with the Listing Rules. Nevertheless existing minimum requirements to the free-float of companies with the similar level of capitalization significantly exceeds our current parameters,” noted Andrey Shalimov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board.

Ordinary shares of Vozrozhdenie Bank have been admitted for trading on MICEX since 1998. After listing in 2006 they were included into the Quotation List B. In July 2007, the bank’s ordinary shares were transferred to the Quotation List A2, and in June 2013 — to the Quotation List A1. In June 2014, in the process of the stock exchange reformation the ordinary shares of the bank were included into the Level 1 (Highest) Quotation List.
