Bank Vozrozhdenie was ranked 430th among Top 500 most valuable banking brands according to the research of The Banker magazine. Brand value of the bank increased by 36% for the year to $190 million, providing rank improvement by 39 positions compared to 2011.
The rating was prepared by Brand Finance, an independent global consulting company focused on brand valuation and management of intangible assets. To calculate the value of banking brands, Brand Finance analysts assessed a number of attributes such as brand equity, client loyalty, market share and profitability on a scale of 0 to 100. Analysts considered the bank’s financial indicators on core operations and competitive positions on the key markets, providing a five-year forecast for these indicators.
In addition to the brand ranking, the consulting company assigns brand rating within the research. These are calculated using Brand Finance’s analysis, which benchmarks the strength, risks and future potential of a brand relative to its competitors on a scale ranging from AAA to D. For bank Vozrozhdenie brand rating demonstrated improvement compared to 2011 and stood at A+. According to the researchers, brand rating methodology is conceptually similar to credit rating assessment.
